Our History

Partridge Well Drilling (PWD) was established in 1892. At that time drilling rigs had masts that were made of wood. They were assembled and disassembled for each job and mobilized from site to site on a horse drawn wagon. Power was from steam. PWD’s current president is the sixth generation to manage the company.
